Now the next food that made the list is not the favorite cup of tea for most people, but cottage cheese is a protein packed super food. Cottage cheese is dairy as well, so people may see a trend developing here, but it is packed. Cottage cheese will generally have 14 grams of protein for every 1/2 cup people eat. So this is quite a bit of protein in a small amount of food as well.

If people do not mind getting past the holes and sometimes the smell, Swiss cheese is a great option to. Swiss cheese has often been shown as a food that has 8 grams of protein for every 1 ounce serving. So this is a food that will provide you with a large chunk of protein in just a small serving.

Eggs is one of the foods that everyone claims to be packed with protein, but the list so far has shown their are other foods that have more protein. The eggs will generally contain 6 grams of protein per large egg. So this means people will have to eat quite a bit more to get the protein they need to have.

Two percent milk is the next protein packed item as it is going to contain 8 grams or protein in every cup. This is going to be quite a bit of milk for some people to drink, but it is possible for people to get a large amount of protein from their milk and not even realize they are getting so much protein.

Protein is needed to build up muscle mass and for a lot of people they do not even realize just how much is needed to get their muscles built up. This is when people should know about some of the high protein foods, which are not the meats people think about, to help them in building up their muscle mass. By knowing about these foods, it will be easy for people to see they can get the optimal muscle gain without having to go to the expense of buying expensive supplements.
